I just got Toon Boom Animate after visiting a seminar for their new line of products. I have to say, without a doubt, that this is a much, much better program for animators than Flash. MUCH better. You can try out the public learning edition for free on their website, and there's a bit of a learning curve, but the tools are really powerful. And everything, once you figure it out, seems to make sense.

Plus you can turn antialiasing off, which is wonderful for me.
